Discimport Recommends – Putters
Putt & Approach discs are the slowest flying discs. It’s the easiest disc to control, but goes the shortest. Putters are used for mostly putting, but can also be used for throwing. Throwing putters is a great way to learn more about how discgolf discs behave. Therefore we recommend throwing putters as much as possible.

Midranges are a slow flying disc that allows for a lot of control. It has many similarities to a putter, but allows for a bit more distance. Throwing midranges is a good way to get better throwing technique and will help develop your game. The midrange, is in the early stages off discgolf, easier to throw than the driver.
