Distance Drivers

For wide open shots on the disc golf course where you need to cover a lot of distance, a distance driver should be the preferred disc of choice, if you can get it up to speed. Sporting a much larger rim than its little brother the fairway driver you will need to master the art of throwing “nose down” otherwise you’ll most likely skyrocket the disc into the air. If you want to take your distance game to the next level a distance driver is an absolute must as long as you have all your fundamentals in place. The distance driver will need a lot more airspace if you want to maximize its potential but it will get you from point A to B a lot faster than any other category of discs in disc golf. Distance drivers tends get beat up fast because of the higher speed in their flight so premium plastic is a great choice when picking up a distance driver.
